Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

This past Saturday, the Western Boone Junior High Boys soccer team traveled to North Montgomery for their conference tournament. The boys faced off against North Montgomery in a tremendous soccer game that resulted in a 1-1 tie at the end of regulation. Wyatt Hardin scored for the stars off of an earned PK in the box by Andrew Castillo. Brammer Lasley had multiple saves including one that he punched over the top of the goal box. The game went to penalty kicks. Timothy Walker and Maison Lutz were able to put their kicks in the back of the net but it just wasn't quite enough as North Montgomery prevailed in penalty kicks 3-2. The Stars had one of the best seasons in school history with a winning "regular season" record. Members of the team this year were: Landon Berney, Jace Bloss, Jacob Bloss, Joseph Boddicker, Brayden Burns, Andrew Castillo, Wyatt Hardin, Fritz Heine, Enzo Heredia, Keegan Isaac, Crosby Kinsler, Brammer Lasley, Jackson Linton, Maison Lutz, Lane Merrill, Matthew Nelson, Lucas Pemberton, John Schaumberg, and Timothy Walker.
