Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The WEBO JR High Lady Stars traveled to Zionsville Saturday morning to participate in the Zionsville Girls Golf Invitational. In the teams first 18 hole match of the season, the Stars took on Brownsburg East, Mt. Vernon, Noblesville East, Noblesville West, Westfield, Zionsville, & Zionsville West. In just over 5 hours of continuous play, the Stars experienced their first full course match and the many challenges of persevering through the day. A great display of effort and sportsmanship was demonstrated by all. After the scores came in, Noblesville East took the trophy this year with an impressive 326. Stars finished the day with a 468. Individual scores; Thompson - 91 Cunningham- 119 Osborne- 138 Hall- 132 Wilson- 126 The Stars head into the seasons last week of play traveling to Rocky Ridge on Wednesday. The final match of the season is Thursday at Cool Lake.
