Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone girls golf team capped off an incredible week by winning the Sectional Championship today — their second straight postseason title after winning conference last week! This marks their 3rd Sectional Championship in a row. The Stars dominated the field, finishing with a team score of 344, breaking the school record by two strokes and winning by an incredible 64 strokes. Senior Ally Lewis was the Sectional Medalist with a stellar round of 74. Jada Scott fired a personal-best 87 to finish runner-up individually. Jaylee Dickerson also posted a personal-best 91, while teammates Ila Stokes (92) and Lexi Gregg (95) helped round out the record-setting performance. The Lady Stars remain undefeated this season and will advance to compete at Regionals next Saturday. Way to go, Stars — keep shining bright!
