Lady Stars Fall on Senior Night Against Fountain Central.  The Western Boone Lady Stars hosted the Fountain Central Mustangs on Senior Night, honoring seven seniors for their dedication to the program before tip-off. The Stars came out strong early, opening the game with a basket from senior Isabella Fettig. However, Fountain Central’s tenacious defense limited Western Boone to just four points in the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Stars amped up their offense, scoring 15 of their 31 total points. Senior Jada Sanders made a huge impact off the bench with strong defensive play and a key basket. Jaylee Dickerson attacked the basket aggressively, earning trips to the free-throw line, while Bailey Keyes made her presence felt on the defensive end. Ila Stokes knocked down a clutch three-pointer from the right corner to spark the offense. At halftime, the Stars trailed the Mustangs 29–19. The third quarter saw junior Ally Lewis lead the charge, scoring seven of her nine points by attacking the basket and playing tough defense. Her effort helped cut the deficit to eight points and gave the Stars momentum heading into the final quarter. Despite the push, the Mustangs pulled away in the fourth quarter to secure the win and spoil Senior Night for Western Boone. Though the outcome wasn’t what the Stars hoped for, the night was more than the final score. A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the seven seniors for their commitment, leadership, and hard work, as well as to their parents for years of support and encouragement. Their impact on the Lady Stars program will be remembered long after the final buzzer.
